Efficiency, Communication and Collaboration Enhanced Throughout the Organization

San Diego, CA –– January 27, 2016
–– BP Logix, provider of BPM solutions for rapid workflow app development, today announced that Combined Properties, Incorporated, a full-service real estate firm, has chosen Process Director as their process automation solution to automate and streamline its business processes. The selection of a BPM software product was the result of the company’s mission to improve its core lease workflow process and other key administrative processes, including new employee onboarding and training.

Combined Properties, Incorporated, is a full-service real estate company with locations in Washington, DC and Beverly Hills, CA. Founded in 1984, the company has consistently been ranked as one of the top private owners of retail centers in the Washington metropolitan area. With a portfolio comprising 5 million square feet and a $1 billion development pipeline, Combined Properties, Incorporated is now branching out from its historic retail concentration and applying its multidisciplinary expertise in the areas of development, asset management, leasing and finance to develop innovative mixed-use properties.

Andre White is the Director of Information Technology Services for Combined Properties, Incorporated, responsible for its network infrastructure and technology services. The company’s need to track, monitor, analyze and report on all activities from the time a lease is initiated until completed was a key driver behind this initiative. Recognizing that there are always multiple leases moving concurrently through the system, and appreciating the need to gain greater process efficiency, White began to investigate process automation solution providers. His primary criteria included: 1) Ease of use, 2) Deployment and 3) Functionality. Equally important to White and his team was the need to identify a solution that would allow logical process automation design and rapid development.

"We liked the methodology of BP Logix, how Process Director works, how it integrates with external applications and relational databases, the ability to make and design eForms with Microsoft Word and do so without a massive number of admins or a full time DBA," White explained. "The ability to create corporate business rules that ensure that everyone is following the protocol for a process uniformly was very important to us. As a result of using Process Director as our process automation solution we have added accountability to our processes, allowing multiple people to be aware of task status and who is responsible for them."

"It is always rewarding to work with a company like Combined Properties, Incorporated," stated Jay O'Brien, BP Logix CEO. "Given their growth and the sheer numbers of leases and activities which they manage on a daily basis, automating and streamlining their business processes through process automation is an ideal way for Process Director to contribute to the company’s success."
