City’s Award-Winning Transformation Driven by BP Logix Process Director 5.0

San Diego, CA and Fort Worth, TX – Dec. 12, 2018 –– The City of Fort Worth and BP Logix, provider of low-code/no-code BPM solutions for rapid digital application development, today announced that Fort Worth has been selected as a Winner in the 2018 WfMC Awards for Excellence in Business Transformation.

The award recognition is based on a City-wide digitally transformative approach, one that combines the alignment of adaptable, low-code technology with the leveraging of creative applications to improve its systems, and ultimately meet its goals. The successful BPM implementation was built on BP Logix Process Director, designed to enable digital innovation and business transformation and give users the needed visibility into processes in order to make sound business decisions.

With a vision to be the most livable and best managed city in the country, Fort Worth leadership recognized the need for a major overhaul of city processes and systems in order to achieve its goals. The City launched its BPM initiative and is addressing the influx of residents and businesses driving the demand for city services – beginning with its Employee Forms Portal and capitalizing on those successes to roll out its new Citizen Portal. “To meet the demands of a rapidly growing community, we have to continually find efficiencies in almost every work process across the City,” said Kevin Gunn, Chief Technology Officer for the City of Fort Worth. “City leaders also understood the role of BPM technology in the creation and delivery of City services to attract residents, visitors and business investment. Leveraging BPM technology for local government makes Fort Worth a forward-thinking city and is a key contributor to our success.”

Co-sponsored by WfMC and BPM.com, the prestigious award recognizes user organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative business solutions to meet strategic business objectives. The award submissions were assessed by a panel of 23 judges using 15 distinct evaluation factors within the criteria of Innovation, Implementation and Impact.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have another customer win this prestigious award, and are honored to recognize Fort Worth and all they have been able to achieve in such a short period of time,” said Jay O’Brien, CEO of BP Logix. “This is validation of not only great implementations, but is also testament to the results of those implementations with Process Director, a truly disruptive low code technology that is changing how companies do business and approach digital transformation.”
