Professional Services Implementer

We encourage you to apply if you meet most—but not all—of these qualifications. If you're strong in 4-5 of the 6 skill areas below and eager to learn the rest, we want to hear from you. We provide comprehensive training on our platform and value problem-solving aptitude over checkbox credentials.

Position summary

Professional Services Implementers configure and deploy low-code business process automation applications using BP Logix Process Director. As a Professional Services team member, you will work with customers to understand their business processes, design automated solutions, build and test applications, and provide ongoing support. This is a hands-on technical implementation role — expect to spend 70-80% of your time configuring forms, workflows, and integrations rather than writing requirements documents or managing projects.

Primary responsibilities

  • Configure digital forms with conditional logic, validation rules, and data connections

  • Build automated workflows with approval routing, notifications, and task assignments

  • Connect applications to external databases and REST APIs to pull and push data

  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and investigate system behavior when things don't work as expected

  • Test applications thoroughly before deployment to ensure they handle real-world scenarios

  • Deploy and migrate applications across environments (development → staging → production)

  • Provide Help Desk assistance to customers experiencing issues with their applications

  • Document your work and escalate bugs or feature requests to Engineering when appropriate

Key qualifications

English proficiency: C1 (Advanced) required for written and verbal communication with US-based customers and team members.

1. SQL & Database Fundamentals

  • Write SELECT queries with JOINs, WHERE clauses, and basic aggregations (COUNT, SUM, GROUP BY)

  • Understand relational database concepts: tables, primary/foreign keys, relationships

  • Bonus: SQL Server experience, stored procedures, or data cleanup scripting

2. Boolean Logic & Conditional Thinking

  • Comfortable with AND/OR/NOT logic and nested conditions

  • Can translate business rules into logical statements (e.g., "If amount > $5000 AND department = Finance, route to VP for approval")

  • Bonus: Experience with decision tables or rule engines

3. Form Building & UI Configuration

  • Experience building forms with show/hide logic, field validation, or calculated fields

  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for layout adjustments

  • Bonus: Experience with form builders (Power Apps, InfoPath, Adobe Forms, Google Forms with scripting) or JavaScript

4. Workflow & Process Automation

  • Understanding of approval workflows: routing, notifications, escalation, delegation

  • Grasp of sequential vs. parallel task execution

  • Bonus: Experience with workflow tools (Power Automate, Nintex, K2, ServiceNow, Salesforce Flow) or BPMN notation

5. REST APIs & System Integration

  • Basic understanding of REST concepts: endpoints, GET/POST methods, authentication

  • Ability to read and interpret JSON or XML data structures

  • Bonus: Experience with Postman, JSONPath/XPath, or OAuth authentication

6. Technical Troubleshooting

  • Systematic approach to isolating and diagnosing problems

  • Comfortable reading error messages and logs to identify root causes

  • Bonus: Browser developer tools experience (inspecting DOM, network requests)

Additional qualities

  • Customer-centric attitude with patience for helping users solve problems

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help

  • Strong attention to detail when testing and documenting work

  • A degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field is helpful but not required — we value demonstrated skills over credentials
