The BP Logix Java Annotation SDK enables collaboration and web annotation functionality to be embedded within existing products. Applications that can benefit from collaborative web page annotation functions include web content management, document management, portal, and digital asset management products. The BP Logix Java Annotation SDK utilizes the industry's first, and most advanced, web page annotation functions. This component facilitates web-based collaboration on any existing web content. It enables companies to create ‘affinity groups’ in which members can collaborate on and about any digital content. Users can arrive at decisions regarding final content through interactive and intelligent collaboration. Users can review web content with other members of their team or workgroup before publishing it -- and making it available to business partners, suppliers and customers. Our powerful web annotation capabilities enable reviewers to easily -- and intuitively -- communicate their comments. Users can create workgroups for Web research and content review -- and work with BP Logix the way they do with their existing review and approval process. |

How It WorksThere are two components to the Java Annotation SDK. A server side component (Java Annotation SDK) and a client component (ActiveX plug-in). Your application integrates with the BP Logix Java Annotation SDK and the plug-in provides the graphical annotation functions inside your browser.
The BP Logix Java Annotation SDK is distributed as a JAR file with documented interfaces. This SDK is not a standalone product; it is a Java module that can be integrated into your web-based application for deployment. The BP Logix Java Annotation SDK installation program installs sample JSP and Java code, documentation, release notes, and a relational database for testing the samples. This installation program installs the SDK only. The installation of the BP Logix Java components will be performed as part of your integrated offering. The BP Logix browser plug-in that communicates with the Java servlet can be easily customized and branded. |
