WOOLPERT SELECTS IMARKUP TO ADDRESS BUSINESS AUTOMATION REQUIREMENTS
New Web-Based System Allows Company to Automate and Streamline HR Processes
SAN DIEGO, California - September 22, 2008 –- iMarkup Solutions, a provider of web-based business process automation and reporting solutions, today announced that Woolpert, one of the top 100 engineering design firms in the U.S., has selected its product as part of a company initiative that includes web-based forms automation and business processing. Woolpert’s goal in deploying the iMarkup software is to automate HR and Accounting applications, providing faster access to information and avoiding duplication of information. As a result of a successful Proof of Concept pilot, Woolpert selected iMarkup based on its business logic, flexibility and ease of use. Woolpert plans to be in full production in time for its semi-annual review process which begins in January.

Laura Davis, IT project leader at Woolpert, had a mandate to evaluate business process management and forms automation solutions. As part of her due diligence, Davis found that most of these solutions came with a high price tag, were challenging for new users to understand, had constraints regarding the number of submitters and approvers and how the forms themselves could be created. “We needed a solution that would provide flexibility, offer an intuitive forms creation tool, would work with Active Directory and was not so complex that it was daunting for employees to use,” commented Davis. “Our goal was to increase productivity and become more efficient. When we discovered iMarkup, we found the product that was a perfect fit for Woolpert.”
Pleased with the results of its pilot project for the Human Resources department, Davis anticipates that iMarkup can be used across many other areas within the company. “Our users appreciate the reduction in time they now have to spend dealing with forms. Being able to eliminate email and hard copies of documents is a real plus. Our Purchasing staff is looking forward to using iMarkup as well in the future,” Davis added.
