
Scott Menter is the Vice President of Business Solutions for BP Logix, Inc. Scott's responsibilities include product marketing, professional services, and BPM technology evangelism. He joined BP Logix in 2010, bringing with him a diverse background including business and technology leadership positions from Southern California to Wall Street.
Before coming to BP Logix, Scott headed the technology organization for nationwide brokerage WaMu Investments, Inc. As a member of the senior leadership team reporting to the President of the company, Scott was responsible for developing and leading the execution of the firm's technology strategy. He produced substantial improvements in operating metrics, while at the same time overseeing the delivery of critical new systems and services. Following the acquisition of WaMu by JPMorgan Chase, Scott was responsible for the transition of all of the broker/dealer's technology operations and information to the acquiring entity.
Prior to WaMu Investments, Scott was Director of Infrastructure Services for the University of California, Irvine. Reporting to the CIO, Scott and his team built and operated electronic mail, network security, identity services, and other critical technology platform components. His group provided a campus population of nearly 40,000 students, faculty, and staff with secure and robust services supporting an enormous variety of instructional, research, and administrative activities.
For over a decade, Scott led his own enterprise software and services business specializing in provisioning and identity management. He has also worked at Sun Microsystems, and at former Wall Street powerhouse Lehman Brothers, where he led the Worldwide Systems Engineering organization.
Scott is active in a variety of causes, and has served on a number of non-profit boards. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Brandeis University.
